The word Provence conjures up a myriad of images: colorful villages, leafy squares, Roman ruins, and of course, the incomparable beauty of the Mediterranean. Our 10-day Provence tour will give you a chance to truly get to know the region as we stroll through open-air markets, enjoy meals with breathtaking views of the sea, and immerse ourselves in fields of lavender in bloom. We will begin in the charming village of St. Rémy de Provence, with its cozy squares, weekly market, and quaint shops, before heading to the jewel of the Riviera – Nice – and our own perfume-making adventure in the nearby town of Grasse. Our next stops will be Aix-en-Provence and Arles, two different but equally delightful Provençal cities that capture the spirit of this enchanting region. And since an exploration of Provence would not be complete without a visit to a fishing village, we will spend a day in the tiny town of Cassis, soaking up the coastal atmosphere and marveling at the magnificent limestone cliffs and inlets of the Calanques National Park. Our final day in le Midi will be spent in the Camargue – a region famous not only for its exceptional culture but also its pink salt marshes, wild horses, and flamingoes!
